Evacuation and transportation of deceased at the National Insurance Institute’s expense
Ambulancely services include evacuating the deceased to a cold room from private homes and from medical institutions at the National Insurance Institute’s expense.
Every citizen that holds an Israeli ID card is entitled to evacuation to a cold room and storage overnight and over the weekend.
Sun-Thu 16:00 in the afternoon until 07:00 the next morning
and Fridays from 16:00 in the afternoon until 07:00 on the Sunday morning.

– Transportation of deceased
– The service of transporting deceased to all parts of the country incurs a fee
– Air transportation of deceased to Israel
– Air transportation of deceased from abroad to Israel includes pick-up of the deceased from the cold room at Ben Gurion Airport and transportation to the requested destination
– Handling of all the paperwork and issue of a burial license
– Cremation (in collaboration with an external contractor)

– Issue of a burial license and coordinating of the paperwork with Chevra Kadisha
– Death notices, including hanging them up at the family’s request
